Shoes / Clothes, Barcelona
barcelona is very busy and very hot, it's difficult yo find good shops but once you have found them it's ll good you will find loads of bargins and there is a shoppin mall 9 stories high where you find absoulutly everythin you need
What to buy: clothes and shoes! you will find moutians of shoe shops they are every where i was in heaven!! xx
What to pay: depends on what you want but i brought a really nice top not designer and it was 13 euros aprox £9.00
Camper shoes are somewhere between a child & adults mind. They're made with style & give comfort. I swept up a pair, and could easily have went for 3 more styles, but I got cheap with my budget. My husband picked up 3 pairs in 1 go!
H&M of Barcelona isn't afraid to sell black in the summer. for €128, I got 9 great new pieces in my wardrobe, and for a little more, my husband got 10 pieces. Barcelona has a great sense of style, both classic & street style.
What to buy: I'm a native New Yorker living in Ireland, and the fashion in Ireland sucks. I'll be returning to Barcelona to shop for EVERYTHING, Shoes & Clothes. There are a few places that aim the garish bright colors toward the grey cloudy countries, so just walk on by. If you have good taste, this city will please you.
What to pay: Prices were lower than New York, but the conversion will kill you. Cheaper than most EU countries.
A local name for smart clothing. ýZaraý is a chain, and it is fast expanding in Europe (Milan is another place where I have been to their outlet, and I know of many more). Prices are moderate for the type of clothing it produces, but you are to like suits and jackets to be more likely to find something you would just love to get. As that is just the kind of clothing I prefer, ýZaraý was perfect for me.
Where you can find them:
- LýIlla del Diagonal - the huge shopping mall where they have a section - thatýs the one I have been to
- Passeig de Gracia
-Avinguda del Portal de lýAngel
What to pay: Less than for big fashion names, but more than for department store clothing.
Outlet Leather Factory is the biggest leather shop I have ever seen, there are many many different leather jackets models for men and women, there are about 8.000 jachets. It is not the tipical shop, theyselves produce and sell woldwide, the quality is quite good and the price is about 50% cheaper than in a conventional leather shop!
They also sell wallets and belts, everithing done with really good leather.
Good leather products.
What to buy: Leather jackets, wallets and belts
What to pay: There are many prices depending of the jackets, from 49 eur to 575 eur, but alwais about 50% cheaper than in a specialized leather shop, because they produce and sell worldwide
Pull and Bear is a world wide chain with a street culture concept. They sell different types of clothing ranging from ski and other sport outfits, to more casual clothing.
What to buy: I might sound funny, but I bought a beautiful ski outfit in Pull and Bear. The quality is really good and attention is paid to a lot of details.
What to pay: I paid much less than I had expected to pay for a ski suit. The pants I bought were 40 EUR and the jacket 80 EUR. So 120 EUR in total!!
Walking near "la sagrada familia" we discover this clothes shop. Its not the typical shop because you feel there like in your house. All the shop is hand made.
What to buy: You can find clothes for men and women, shoes, boots... and art! there are some pictures and wood made masks from ukrainian and bulgarian artists!
Maybe a bit expensive these ones for me but many good clothes at good price.
What to pay: The clothes got good prices, around 30 euros, and shoes and boots around 40 euros, but the art its around 400 euros (wood made pictures and masks).
