by dewaele.j Especially known to young people for party after the examination periods. It´s totally crowded: spending 2 days there was more than enough. The beach is overcrowded: better watch where you walk. Leave a Comment

Barcelona's beaches and the waterfront marina. I love it - an exciting and stimulating city right by the beach! Leave a Comment

by viajera67 I also like walking around Barceoneta, with its beaches and restaurants. Below is a picture of my friend on the beach in Barceloneta.

by antonio1 A part from Barcelona beach. Here I remained without money and I was looking to the last coins. A beautiful remember from that day.

Barcelona has a lovely beach, we walked the full length of it one afternoon, but be warned there is a nudist section at the far end........( not for the feint hearted )lol Lots of novel places to sit and enjoy the sun sea and sand. Leave a Comment

Barcelona has some wonderful golden beaches, with views of the beautiful mediterranean sea. Having only visited the city during the winter months, it was too cold to do any sunbathing, but we did go down for a kick about in the sea, and the sand was fantastic, and it was quite a feeling to let the fine speckles of gold tickle my feet. There are loads of bars, cafes and all sorts of other ameneties strewn across the beach for your convenience. Leave a Comment

I did not realise there were beaches here! Veey sweet, very easy to find, lots of nice restaurants and shops here. Nearby is a business area so lots of office workers descend at lunchtime Directions: er...the beach

Just let yourself loose on any one of the beaches. The one I like best is Stiges, about 45 mins.from Barcelona City by train. Stay there for a couple of nights, it is unforgetable !

On a hot, and therefore busy day, more towards Barceloneta, a day on the beach will be ruined, if not hideously disturbed by a constant droan of the Asian 'salesmen'. Enough to drive you completely and utterly crazy!... "Cool agua, Fanta, cola... cool aqua, Fanta, cola... cool aqua Fanta, cola... cool aqua, Fanta, cola... cool aqua, Fanta, cola............." and so it goes on........ "Cold beer, my friend?"... For the last time - I'M NOT YOUR FRIEND!... ...You'll understand my frustrations if witnessed yourself. Other than that, the beaches are pleasent. The further away from Bareceloneta you go the better, as in less crowded, but not as wide. Spend a day by one of the beach bar establishments and drink yourself stupid, if that's your sort of thing! Address: By the sea, quite obviously.

The houses of people are so close to the beach!!! That was unusual for me. The water was cleaner than I expected. You can get beautiful big shells here. What i didn't like was that showers weren't working and the beach was sooooooo crowded.. Leave a Comment Address: The closest beach to the Barcelona centre
