    Barcelona at your feet

For a fabulous view of Barcelona, visit Montjuic (The Hill of the Jews). In 1992 the Olympic stadium was built here (carefully screening the Jewish cemetery that gives the hill its name).

It's worth going there for the stroll and the Miro foundation (modern art museum).
    Nice views over the city.

    View of Barcelona from Montjuic

There are a lot of places to get great views of this city, including Montjuic, a park in southern Barcelona.

    Montjuic behind the harbour scenery

Montjuic has gardens, forest and cultural spots like Palau Nacional, Olympic Stadium and the foundation of Joan Miro. Besides all that the view over the city of Barcelona is magnificent.

    Botanic Garden

This is a very beautiful Botanic Garden with huge cactusplants and all kinds of small cactusplants. Free entrance, nice view on the harbour.

MONTJUIC is the most important recreational area in Barcelona - an oasis of calm and nature in the middle of the urban agglomeration.
