Egyptian Museum of Barcelona - The Clos Archaeological Foundation
The Egyptian Museum is a private collection with almost 1000 items on display. The artefacts are related to daily life in ancient Egypt, the Pharaohs and the religion. It is not the Egyptian Museum in Cairo but it’s absolutely worth a visit if you have any interest in archaeology or the ancient Egypt. Besides the exhibitions the museum has many other activities like courses and cultural events. There is also a library with over 10 000 documents.

The museum is open between 10 - 20, Monday - Saturday, and between 10 - 14 on Sundays.
Admission was 7 Euro (February 2008).
