This museum is housed in a magnificent building that was the main building of the world expo of 1929. The museum has the most beautiful collection of Roman fresco's in Europe.

The Illuminated Fountains and Magic Fountain are visible from Pl. Espanya up Av. Reina Maria Cristina. It houses the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya with its Romanesque and Gothic art collections.
