Museu D'art Contemporani de Barcelona
A contemporary building smack in the middle of the old city. The contrast jarring but amusing.

Fine contemporary artist exhibits.

Beside the MACBA there is the Barcelona Contemporary Culture Centre (CCCB). Opened in 1994, the CCCB is a centre devoted to the concept of city. Interesting exhibitions and events take place here.

The Barcelona Contemporary Art Museum (MACBA) is located in the Raval district very near to La Rambla. Richard Meier built the museum, which was opened in 1995.
