This is a museum about chocolate. I love chocolate and found the visit interesting. The exhibition starts with cacao and how it was used in America. And then how it came to Europe and later with the first chocolate machine in Barcelona.
Among all items showing the history of chocolate are big sculptures made of chocolate, for example Casa Batlo and another one of Don Quixote (2nd photo).
Before coming to the museum I had done a lot of walking and looked for benches inside the museum, but saw only one. There were nowhere to sit (except on the floor) in front of the photo slide shows.

It is not a very big museum and it can be worth some of your time. When many other museums are closed on Mondays the Chocolate Museum is open. The museum is open from Monday to Saturday, 10 am – 7 pm and on Sundays, 10 am – 3 pm.
Admission was 3.90 Euro (February 2008).
