    Bus transfer to downtown Barcelona is very well orgainized, the bus stop is right in front of each terminal, the bus leaves at around every 10 minutes and the ride costs E 3.75 and lasts around 1/2 hour.

  • If you are in kind of a hurry and need to see the main attractions in only a few days (which, in my opinion, is the case when you have less than 3 days for a Barcelona stay), then you are well off with the Barcelona bus turístic.
    Check out the webpage indicated below to see how it works.
    I never used it but friends who used it liked it.

    If you want to see where you're going, this is the way to travel aroun Barcelona. The price is the same as the metro. For routes see the metro and bus maps.There are 15 routes destinations.

  • In Placa Catalunya, in the evening, there is a kiosk where they gave night buses map. This have been a great way to get around night time, safe and always in time. Useful especially if you are lodged near the center. We never used taxi even when it was very late.

  • Some folks worry about being seen as a typical tourist. Having lived a lot of my life in one of the UK's leading tourist spots, let me tell you - you look like a tourist whatever you do. That's okay - it's whether you are a visitor or a grockle that matters. The Bus Turistic may seem the nadir of grockledom - sitting on the open top deck photographing everything in sight seems just about as bad as it can get. However, there are so many of these buses (one every two minutes at peak times) that the locals have long since stopped noticing, and far more important, they are a great way to get your bearings. The buses take three routes - green, red and blue. The blue route takes you round the majority of the main sights. The red will get you to the funfair (when open) the football stadium and the Gaudi cathedral. The green principally does the beach and the business quarter. If you are going to ditch one of the routes, I'd recommend forgetting about the green route. There is a helpful commentary fed over headphones (supplied free when you get on the bus - remember to ask for them) in a wide choice of languages.
