This is the same display from a different angle.
Unique Suggestions: It looks more or less like what you see when you look through the glass. This is one of the optical illusions I mentioned earlier.
Fun Alternatives: Outside of this dislplay the museum is really cool.

This is what you see after a long wait through a line which doesn't move very fast. Some people see the face of mae West. I saw a sofa, some pictures and whatever else.
Unique Suggestions: I love Dali's work, but not this one. It would be OK if you didn't have to wait through a long line, but the line really spoils it.
Fun Alternatives: You have a museum full of alternatives

We did a road trip from our hotel in Figueres up to the Monastery de Roda. First we droved to Ampuriabrava. The view was very fascinating. Nice weather onetime in September.Observing those hobby fishers and watching those luxurious yachts going in & out the canal made us feel hungry. No wondr twas noontime. So we decided to take some green salads with tomato, onions and tuna and two small bottles of softdrinks. Sure the plate is filled up. Gosch! we paid about 13 dollar each serving! Unbelievable !! Nevermind, we were really very hungry and ate everything except the onions. We were enjoying the beautiful sceneries though. It was a memorable experience........
Unique Suggestions: We'll we can't always bring our backpacks filled with own prepared foods, right?

Avoid restaurants at Placa Gala-Salvador Dali. Take a walk and you will find some good and cheap restaurants and cafeterias.

Not really a tourist trap as the museum was really great to visit, but awfully really many of Dali's paintings are in foreign museums, so do not expect to see all his most known works here.

a strange town... salvador dali's birthplace - and final resting place. Figueres is a sleepy town with a buzzing museum, which is a peculiar combination. Definitely worth a visit or day-trip.
