L'Estartit Restaurants

Cafe Barracuda in Estartit has great pub food at very reasonable prices. They have huge selection to choose from. Our favourites are the Mexican fajitas and the steak pie. Their sunday roast is fab and our kids love the childrens meals as they get a free colouring and puzzle sheet. Don't go to Estartit without trying Cafe Barracuda.
The item that makes it special is that there is different variety of entertainment every night.

Favorite Dish: My favourite was the sunday roast, which was very tasty & could not believe the portion size.

Large starters such as mixed salads, melon and ham etc...

Delicious paella cooked with octopus ink and served with all the trimmings for 11.50 euros per person

A lot of seafood dishes, not particularly cheap.

Very decent house red.

Favorite Dish: Seafood paella

We were here for a Soccer match. Belgium versus Holland. The match was live and we had a great time.

Drinks were not too expensive and the snacks we ordered were great.

You also have a great view of the bloulevard.

Favorite Dish: Dutch beer and snacks.

Along the road toward L'estartit there's a great chicken restaurant. They have plenty of chickens on the "BBQ"

About 400 meters before the first roundabout in L'estartit there is a campingsite on the right. Just before this campingsite here you'll find this chicken farmer. They serve great chicken very cheap. When you're into seafood , you should order the Calamaris.

Favorite Dish: This Calamaris is officially a starter but when you see your plate being served it should have gone for main course. Great fish.. low prices.

The chicken is absolutely great. Very fast service.

English food dont get much better than
at Clancys bar ,Fresh good quality food
with generous portions and reasonable
prices make this place a must
for an english breakfast or one of the many
other well made dishes made at Clancys.

Visiting on a sunday offers the oppertunity
to sample their excellent Sunday roast dinners ,which is probably the best roast
dinner i have ever had.

Probably the oldest and definitely the cosiest bar at l'Estartit. The picture shows tha family that runs the bar (now taken care of by the youngest one - Llouis, on the right). They also have lovely apartments to rent upstairs with a lovely view of the port and Medas Islands. I stayed there once. It was much better than the hotels I usually stay in (I am sure they won't mind this kind of publicity)
