Port Marina unfortunately is not anymore the spot to spend summernights next to the sea, with music, drinks and disco flair. It has all changed now and if you go by night,... you might be alone there...
Unfortunately!
You may rather go during daylight...
Dress Code: No ties! No overdressed, please!!!

Address: Just ask, as to describe here is very difficult
This typical club is something amazing. The club is full of locals, everyone eating “tapas” drinking wine and have fun. If you like quite and calm atmosphere you will no find it here. Loud music, laughing and jokes all around, that’s all you will find here.
Dress Code: Be free, casual clothes will be OK

No way: Either you have been at least one evening in "El Castellet" (from 17 up to 99 years old) or you have NOT been in Palamós yet!!!! ;o)))
Everybody knows this pub!!!!
This pub is run by people from Palamós and they are exceptionaly friendly. Besides this, they speak excellent english.
Their Sangria and their Tisana is a must for everybody who are on holidays in Palamós! They offer, as well some little snacks as cheese or jam -"Tapas"
Ah! And they open at 19:00 everyday, the whole year long.
(I miss "El Castellt" already, just by writing about!!!)
Dress Code: Don't go there as you were going to the beach, but neither as to a wedding: Very casual wear!! (f.e. jeans)

Address: Just in front of Fishing museum - Ask anybody!!
The other area for "watching people" and "drink/eat" is right in front of the fishing museum / old harbour. In summer it runs every night (end june to middle september). At other times, only on weekends. However, from sept to june many of them are closed.
Dress Code: Please no ties, no updressed!!!!

Even though Palamos is only a little place, there are many young people ... and that means a ot of night bars and cafýs. It's great, you surely won't get bored. I would recommend you to go from one bar to the next.
One of our preferred was the Waikiki Club - you surely will enjoy this place. The music is great and the drinks very tasty .... maybe a bit too good ;-)
