One of the main tourist attractions of the town is its shopping offer, recognised around the country, as it concentrates and extensive and diversified proposal that enables the visitor to enjoy a wide variety of diverse establishments: fashion, accessories, music, souvenirs, furniture... and much more.
An addition to this unlimited offer, the visitor also enjoys an extensive network of public parking areas that simplify access on foot to the hundreds of shops located on wide sidewalks and a complementary offer of terraces, cafeterias and leisure and restaurant services that make Platja d'Aro an open-air shopping Mecca all year, as the establishments offer their services every day of the week and on holidays.
There are so many bag shops in Playa D'Aro that I thought I had died and gone to heaven. There were big bags, medium bags, small bags, designer bags, casual bags, leather bags, colourful bags, cheap tacky bags (but the less said about them the better) and evey other bag you would want.
What to buy: If you have the money, there were some really good buys on designer handbags.
What to pay: Anything up to about 1.000 euro (These were the D & G, Tods and Furla etc)
