Favorite thing: Well salou was a very busy hot place to go in July. But may fav thing to do has to be going to Barcelona and seeing the fountains, also they have a mini replicar of the Barcelona's fountains. the beaches were lovely and long but way too crowded, couldnt even get a spot!
Fondest memory: Has to be the fountains and beaches, they are the best.

Favorite thing: Renting a car,is the best way to get around Salou and the locations and towns surrounding it.
Not very expensive, and within 4/5 days you can visit the town and all the other cities like, Tarragona, Reus, etc.
Fondest memory: a overall tourist site with lots of tourists and the days i drove the car on those parts of catalunya never faced any traffic jam.
large and clean roads, no parking problems, and easy to get around with plenty and accurate traffic signes.

Favorite thing: You know Spain is beautifull, you have ancient city's, modern city's and i think i was just in time to see the real Salou before it became a place where young people make a mess of it.
Fondest memory: I was there with my friend, Monique en we had a real good time, with a lot of laughter and we never had a fight. Monique was my best friend for more then 18 years before she got married and started a different live then me....we once or twice see each other...and say hi but thats more or less all there is left....its a pity isnt it?

Favorite thing: The nicest thing i found about Salou was the number of excursions out of there!
Even when I went in late October it was still full of less than friendly Brits with their beer swilling kids!
