The church

Why not go to Sitges?Great for a day out.The center of Sitges looks still very Spanish.Lots of shops, restaurants and of course the beautiful church. For those who are interested Sitges has also two small nude beaches. Its also one of the popular destinations for gay people, but you don't have to be gay to enjoy Sitges.

Cape Salou is just a few miles to the North of Salou, and, is easily reached by the Plana bus at a cost of a couple of a couple of €'s, or you can also use the little tourist train, that takes you round Salou.
The coast line is rocky, and dominated by steep Cliffs, there are some spectacular views from the viewing point which is well signed posted.
What spoiled it for me, was the the hotels built into the cliffs going down to the beaches, and, some very tatty bars and cafes.
There is a church to visit, but it was closed when we went.

Most people who visit Salou are flying in at the airport of Reus, and thats it.Well Reus is worthwile visiting and has a lot to offer.Like musea, historical monuments etc.The famous Antoni Gaudi was born here in 1852.So next time when you are in Salou, visit Reus.

This is what the beach normally looks like NOW! So you better be ware of all this people and go out earlie in the morning to find a nice spot near the sea, drinks and ice creams.
Or go somewhere else in Salou, there is more then just the beach, watch this site and do something else that getting a tan!!!

Im shamed to admit it i thought there was only two beeches in salou! we found three more, The main one is just to busy so head out towards cap salou its a short stroll from the main hotels such as the oasis/international and meditarranio, go up the hill and left. they are worth the extra yards trust me
