A trip to Cambrils from Salou takes about 15 minutes and a fare of 2 to 3 euros on a Plana bus. At the end of the bus route ,walk ahead to the fishing port and small shops area. There are good fish restaruants. There is a marina and lovely sandy beaches.

Cambrils is the ajoining resort to Salou and just a €1:50 bus ride away.(2010),
It's a much quieter place than Salou with lovely sandy beaches a very smart marina, there are some very nice fancy shops to spend your money in.
There are some excellent fish restaurants on the beach road facing the marina.
Do try some of their homemade ice cream, you'll find it in the many ice cream parlours in the town.
Do remember to stray off the main road, and into the tiny side streets, you will find some excellent tapas bars, and eating away from the main drag is just as good and a little cheaper. cheaper.

take the bus to cambrils and enjoy the more up market side fo salou where we paid 23e for 3 ice cream sundae,s. this is a fish port and is recommended for the fish dishes that you can eat all the way along the road. you can catch a boat here or even a catamaran. we just enjoyed the walk looking at the yaughts

We went there on our last day of holiday, and it set it all off for us, it was brilliant, the sun was shining, it was a very quiet sleepy place, no hustle or bustle, hardly no traffice, and to watch the boats coming in at 4pm with all there fish was amazing, im only 30 and i found this very interesting, you could watch them wash and sort out all different fish/squids/crabs etc.....

Also they have some nice tappas bars there, we ate at one and it was lovely xxxxx
