What to buy:
We bought around 10 bars of locally made chocolates. There is a wide range of selection from fine cream chocolate to dark chocolate, chocolate with nuts and also chocolate with liquor in it etc. I tried the dark chocolate, it was very nice. :)
What to pay: They are rather inexpensive and cost 2 to 3 euros per bar.
There is a souvenir shop in that area. Since Montserrat is a religious place, the shop has mostly religious items, such as crosses, prayer beads, and little icons. There are also pictures, photography books, calendars, and other things like that.
There is also a supermarket where you can buy things to eat and also a flea market where they have delicious cheese cake and other good thing to eat.
You can see several shops with very nice things to buy, from objects to typical products to eat. Try the “Coca” which is very typical from there.
