Do you want to know what all this people are doing in the street? Is it a demonstration? Is it a "botellón"? No way...
They're at "El Cable". This tapas bar is open since 1940 and it's a meeting point for the people of Sitges. It's so popular that, if inside it's full, people don't mind to stay in the street.
They're in Carrer Barcelona, number 1. You can easily arrive there taking the Carrer Barcelona from the Platja Sant Sebastià or taking the Carrer de L'aigua from the Carrer Major, both of them will bring you directly to the corner of this bar. Don't try to go by car, it's much better by foot.
And don't miss to order "croquetas" (made with chicken, paté and bread), absolutely wonderful!

Hi,
As Sitges is my favorite place to go to the beach, I will tell you that in September you can enjoy it as much as now, in June. In August a sea tide may cover a half of the beach, but in September all goes back to normal. I don't know anything about the hotel Plajador, but if you walk all the way left from it along the sea you will find a nudist beach which is surrounded by rocks and is kind of private. You don't have to go nude because there are no rules for that, some people are nude and some are not. But the thing I like about it is that there are less screaming kids and it is clean. During 5 years of life in Barcelona I preferred to go by train to Sitges as it is the best beach area for me.
Have a nice holiday!

Sit on the rocks that you find in the beach. Enjoy the peace: just the sound of the waves, the wind and the sun.

I was impressed when I went into the Sitges church close to the beach , and I saw that the Mass was in Spanish, not in Catalan language.
According to the new times in Catalunya, it surprised me.
