Many restaurants have the tables outside on the pavement. And the tables must be shared with all the other customers...so it's not a romantic and smart place but the food quality and prices are great.
Favorite Dish: Pescado y marisco or Zarzuela...
Anyway just fish, fish and fish again!

When you feel hungry visit the fishermen's quarter El Serrallo (round the harbour).
Favorite Dish: For lunch you might order freshly caught FISH accompanied by Tarragona's typical ROMESCO SAUCE, made from red peppers, toasted almonds and hazelnuts (the excellent olive oil from El Camp and the locally grown peppers, as well as the secret ingredient handed down from generation to generation of fishermen, are the essential components of this sauce). Bon apetit!

Traditional Pinxos from the basque country, served in this nice bar, belonging to the lizzarán chain which you can find in almost every city in Spain.
