They define its cuisine as "cuina de mestissatge" (fusion food). So, not your place if you're looking for traditional Catalan food, but a good place to experience the new trends without spending a fortune. However, it's more expensive than the avearge.
It is a "trendy" place: modern design furniture mixed to remains of the old house, like and old chimney in the interior patio with "zen" elements. This is a place mainly aimed to dinner, it could be perfect for a romantic evening or a special celebration. However, on weekdays they have a good deal lunch menu as well (12 euros)
Their signature dishes are the creative salads. You can choose as well pizza, fish or meat dishes, and pretty good desserts.
They do not accept reservations. Monday closed.
Open 13:30 - 15:30 and 20:30 - 23:00
A great place to enjoy authentic Catalan food at more than reasonable prices.
The lunch specials (Menú del Dia) are great value, specially on weekdays. As weel, you can choose a variety of Catalan and Mediterranean specialties from their "a la carte" options. Of course, fish and seafood from Vilanova's nearby seaport. Paella, fideuà, ranxos mariners... all of these are good options. As well, a good place to taste the Xatò (signature dish of the area)
If you try the "menu del día" you will have a lunch of 2 courses plus dessert and water/wine for about 12 euros on weekdays and 17 euros on weekends. Basic, local meals, well cooked.
Open from 13:00 -16:00 and 20:30 - 23:00.
Closed on Mondays and second half of September.
If you like fish and seafood, you will not be dissapointed. They have a few fixed menus, different prices, but all of them great value (bear in mind that first quality fish is never cheap). And of course you can choose "a la carte".
Favorite Dish: My favourite is its excellent "gibrellada" (fishermen's traditional dish)
