GASTROCOMIC is a new bar/restaurant in Albir. The food is excellent, Tapas are given with any sort of drink (not olives, nuts and crisps but proper tapas). Its very reasonably priced, plenty of seating inside or out. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them, children are welcome with things to help keep the occupied. You can find it near the Albir Sunday market, around the corner from Tutti Quantti. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed. Let them know you read about it online.............From a very satisfied customer.
Favorite Dish: Although the menu is quite extensive, as its a new Bar/Restaurant I haven't eaten through the menu to say which is a favourite. the Tapas are excellent and home made, not frozen.

Helpfulness
The American Diner surprises most people who seek it out.For the size of this gem of an eating place-it sure does provide not only huge meals but very tasty ones at that.
This family run place make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.
The walls in the Diner are decorated with pictures of famous motion pictures musicals.
We made the visit to the Diner on a friends recomondation and on first visit we were hooked.
Great hosts,great food and great value.
Favorite Dish: The Rack of Ribs or was it the American Diner Special.Hard to say because the food is so good.
The Ribs were huge and with plenty of meat still attatched to the bones,a provided finger bowel was well needed after i had finished-finger licking good.

This place is like an american grill and we ate here twice and it had a good decor. Its on the seafront with good views, except u pay for it.
We had ribs the first time which were nice but my other half said they were nicer in another bar and cheaper. Opps.
The kids enjoyed their meals which were nuggets and a burger with an ice cream for pudding but i though was a little expensive at 9.00 euros.
The next time we went i had pizza which was very nice.
A main meal for 4 of us with 1 drink each and an ice cream for the kids was around 50euro which we found a little on the expensive side asd there was other places that did a lot better value for money. But we still enjoyed it

We used this bar for our breakfast about 10 times during our 2week stay and it was very good, tasty and we thought good value.
As we were self catering in our hotel this bar was a great place to eat it was 2mins down the road from the hotel infront of macadona supermarket and they did food untill tea time, but they had a sign up saying that they would be doing food on a nite the week after we left.
Favorite Dish: My favourite dish was the homemade chilli con carne, that came with rice or chips, and my other half enjoyed the steak pie. They were both on an offer board with a few other things for 10euros for the two meals which we thought was great.
My husband also enjoyed the ribs there.
My kids loved the chocoloate milkshakes they did with lots of cream on top.

Flavours used to be the american diner,a well known eating place,we had been told to vist the diner whilst in albir but found flavours in it's place.The great news is it is just a name change but same owners.
Not to be put off our family still tried flavours and we can see why it got a good reputaion.
We all had a mix of things to eat and enjoyed all in the pleasent decor of the restaurant.
I had one of the menu specials which was Lasagne,chips and salad.The lasgne was very tasty and the salad fresh and crispy.
My wife had another menu special,steak pie mash and peas with gravy.
Thats not just what Flavours had to offer,my father had a steak and pepper sauce which he said was cooked the way he liked it and was very tasty not to mention filling.
We polished of some deserts,the cherry pie and cream went down well with us all.
Above all we found the owners very freindly and helpfull in local knowledge and advice in places to visit whilst we were here on holiday.
After our forth vist to flavours we voted it our top eating place in albir and would say a must visit for anyone feeling hungry.
Favorite Dish: Lasagne.
The lasgne was not just all pasta layers it contained the right mix of meat and sauce to give it one of the best Lasagne's i have tasted.
The Lasagne was served in it's own individual earthernware dish and was piping hot with a layer of melted cheese on top.I had chips and saled but you can have peas instead of the saled.Top marks for tatse and presentation

Went to albir in september this year, and went to shevlins each morning with partner for breakfast. Had been reccomended by a few couples we got talking to in albir gardens and they werent wrong. They have a sign outside saying best in albir and it isnt wrong. They do 3 types a small large or full monty which is huge. as well as the usualy buttys n beans on toast. They do other food to, but we usually were to stuffed after breakfast to eat untill much later in the night, haha. The staff were friendly to say hi to them all 4 me.
Favorite Dish: The best full english breakfast ever. Not greasy just really really nice

Nice place to be, I was there end of october begining of november 2006 nice weather 26 the highest temperature i had. Lots of turists dutch, germans, norvegians and swidish.Lots of nice terases and......
