    This is a very nice place to walk. You can also sit down and relax in the shades of the trees, also a lot of beautiful fountains and statues can be seen. You can walk until you reach the sea.

    This monument is to honour Governor Trino González de Quijano. Who died in 1854 of the cholera epidemic. Its right in the middle of a very beautiful garden.

    In the heart of the city you can see a selection of the fish that live in the Mediterranean sea. The aquarium is right in the middle of the square.

    Enjoy watching the beautiful yachts in the harbour of Alicante. There are also a lot of nice pubs, taverns, restaurants and shops at the harbour.

    It was just at the start of the Spanish lunchtime break whe we started our walk around so very few people about - and nobody at home in the Town Hall.

    Winter surfing !

    One day wind was quite big and ocean waves rised on a got quite high level. I saw this young fellow playing around with his surfing board. Fun :-) !
