BEACHES

Hosell 1415 reviews

Favorite thing: Benidorm is very well known for its famous beaches. Thanks to our very nice weather even during wintertime,is one of most visited spots in Europe.

We have two main beaches: Levante Beach, this is the largest and best beaches in the town.Along the sea promenade you'll find some of the best hotels and apartament buildings in the city. Also there are lot of shops and restaurants.
The other is Poniente Beach located just next to Parque de Elche and the harbour. This beaches finish in Cala de Finestrat.During summer season I prefer to go to Poniente Beach because it is not very crowded as Levante Beach.
Between the two main beaches,we got also another small and very nice beach,it is Playa del Malpas. This is a picture taken here.

Internet Cafe

Favorite thing: I'm sure there are a few other internet cafe's in Benidorm but the one that I found was very close to our hotel, Don Pancho. Walk out of the hotel and cross the street toward the beach and head left. You should quickly see an entertainment center with video games, etc. In the back you will find coin op computers that will give you something like 20 min for €1.

Need an Umbrella?
cwest03 profile photo
cwest03 370 reviews

Favorite thing: If you find yourself at the beach in need of an umbrella and a beach chair to keep you from burning to a crisp fear not. Head on over to any of the sections of chairs and umbrellas, find an empty and have a seat. In short order someone will come over and kindly bill you. Expect to pay about €3 per chair and €3 per umbrella. It's well worth the price unless you want to burn up.

Skyline

Favorite thing: The high appartment blocks and hotels of Benirdorm are for many he expression of bad taste and uncontrolled development. Maybe, but such places must exist and Benidorm provides entertainment for a low budget all year round and to all kinds of people. What else can you ask for?

Besides, even none of the particular buildings is a work of art in itself, the ensemble with the Serra Gelada in the background makes a beautiful skyline.

Favorite thing: The tip of the rock where the town was born has been transformed into a nice promenade with a viewing platform from where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets as well as the unmistakable profile of the small Benidorm's island.

Favorite thing: British people just love Benidorm, all other foreign tourists are clear minority. There are some dutch and scandinavian, even the germans are not visible in the british mass. I think this is also only choise for people from Madrid to see the beach:)
