Arenas: Soraya and Maria Jesus
During the daytime live music for old people. At night drag show with the famous Soraya and accordeon music with Maria Jesus. Strange combination but it seems to work. If you don't understand a word of Spanish it can be boring. Because between dress changes they always tell lots of Spanish jokes. But if you are there for the first time you will enjoy the show.
Maria Jesus is performing somewhere else now.

Barhamas disco bar: Stay away
If you want a good night out i suggest you stay away for barhamas disco bar.
They take your money for over priced drinks, they use pliers to unclip your bra. They take pictures with your friends and think its OK to touch them inappropriately. They steal your camera and ask for sex. after accusing them they are very off handed.

Bahamas: Bahamas Bar Benidorm Lushhhhhhh
Hey just got back from a cracking time in Benidorm, And me and the girls are going back end of november for another blow out, had a great time and was sick to come back to dull rainy sheffield, Myself, Kaz, Janine, Angie stubled every night across the english square and couldnt get enough of it, we went in Bahamas every night because of their lush bar staff plus it helped the fact that Walter oooooo sexy man, was giving us free drinks all night thanks to Angie pulling him every night,(Where did you go you saucy minx ha ha ha) yes we know you were shagging and caught you at it ha ha, I loved that phrase errrrr its not what you think classic walter.......
However moving quickly on lol, For me personally it was a great place the bar lads are really nice however you do get the impression that Walter, Pablo and the other one i forget are the biggest charmers in benidorm, ok janine ill rephrase that lol seeing you found out later with pablo ha ha ha ha, The DJ was great played some great tunes and seem to be really approachable and not up his own arse like half the dj's in benidorm are, I would recommend the club, didnt like some of the people in their if im honest but most of my friends couldnt care less, we just danced the night away and had fun and got up to naughtyness..... roll on late november 07

The Bahamas: KEEP AWAY FROM BAHAMAS NIGHTCLUB
Advice to people who want to enjoy a good time in a friendly atmosphere in Benidorm: keep away from the Bahamas nightclub. The bouncers at the entrance are racists goons. Nine of them attacked my son and his three friends because they were French. One of the boys ended up in hospital with a fractured collarbone and head injuries. The others were roundly beaten up. Unconfirmed reports say a policeman used his truncheon to "calm things down".
We have filed a complaint and are going to press charges for assault. We are looking for any witnesses who might have seen the attack that occurred last week.
We are also mounting a press campaign to reveal the extent of the aggression and warn people away from this dive. As a senior reporter I have colleagues in the Spanish media who are investigating the assault.
We will not let this rest until the culprits are brought to trial, and the club pays for its crime.
NEVER EVER GO THERE, whilst our group were waiting OUTSIDE Bhamas for us to walk round the corner from KFC a bouncer/thug (aged 25-30 body builder type) from inside threw a drink over my son then set about him and his friends including my neice and 5 other girls aged between 17 and 19. they were punched and spat at for no reason at all just waiting for there mothers and laughing amongst themselves.
I had to throw myself in front of my son to stop them hitting/kicking him then they ran back to Bahamas the police did nothing to help.
Complete strangers told me the kids were doing nothing wrong and not bothering anyone else, these people are just picking fights for no apparent reason and getting away with it because they are local.
I am disgusted and still suffering from nightmares because of it.
I cannot get the vision of grown men attacking teenage boys and girls for no reason out of my head.
We were a mixed group of 15 on holiday and some passers by told us this could have been racial.
The door bouncer even joined in and could not see that hitting and spitting at young teenage girls was a problem.
A nearby bouncer from another bar helped block them from hitting me, he indeed was a gentleman.

ROCKET FUEL: BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR DRINKS
Be careful where you buy your drinks in Benidorm as half the bars and nightclubs serve ROCKET FUEL rather than ALCOHOL.
So even if it looks like it came out of a Malibu or Smirnoff bottle - it probably isn´t the real thing.
You don´t need to have your drinks spiked to become a victim in Benidorm - the posion is poured out straight from the bottle.
Dress Code: Take a good look at the bar tender and think about the price you are paying for your drink. Is it the real deal??''
If you start to feel ill after drinking less than your normal intake of alcohol then STOP and throw the drink away - it´s probably got something in it.
Don´t ever leave your drinks lying around either!!
FOR GUYS -be wary of "foreign" girls in the bars and clubs. There are a lot of prostitutes around. You buy them a drink and think you´ve got lucky. You haven´t!!
QUEENS/ZANZE BAR/PEOPLES: GAY BARS
The gay night life around the old town is absouluteley brilliant and the locals respect you as well ,there is never any trouble around here, quite a few tapas bars to grab a snack, beautifull clean beach(probably the best in europe) and the drag queens are good espically levi at queens hotel
Dress Code: no dress code, watch your pockets in the dark rooms

KU Lounge Bar: Just for relaxing
This used to be the KU beach disco. Now it has a new concept. It has become a trendy lounge bar. During daytime its great to have a drink outside with a beautiful view at levante beach. In the evening it can be very relaxing too.

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!
I have just visited this bar with my wife and two adult sons. We sat at bar-stools at the bar. My wifes legs were acheing and we moved a chair from one of the tables to the bar. Apparently, this was too much for the "bouncer" (alias ugly, tough guy, man-in-black with matching du-rag). Unreasonable behaviour on our part? After three drinks, tipping the bar staff, chatting etc., my wife and one of my sons went to the toilet ... once they moved, the du-rag man sent his lackey over to remove the chair, placing it back at the table. As soon as we reacted to say the chair was in use, the du-rag man moves in and tells you loudly to "fcuk off".
See the website: www.bahamas-benidorm.com
which advertises friendly bar staff ha, ha, ha. Being made to look a fool in front of everybody in the bar, their refusal to discuss the matter reasonably, and the aggressive nature of the plank who stands outside means it a a good place to stay away from. Mr. du-rag, you are a ***.
One black mark in an otherwise excellent week in Benidorm.
sinatras: summer party
when in benidorm I went 2 sinatras every night. they have somthing new every night from wet t shirt comps 2 the bbc filming there. the djs were the best i've seen ever. the drinks prices were very good and its always busy. the music ranged from RnB, party and dance.
