The only way to buy cigarettes is from Spain, you can bring back £16,000.00 =8 packs of 200. at about £32.00 for a 200 pack of L&B. Buy them from an official tobacco shop, it has a brown and gold notice above the shop, other shops may not be the official cigarettes.
Hope this helps you
Regards Peter

Address: Should be more than 3 shops
What to buy: you can buy most British and other European food here - so don´t worry about packing anything like that in your case.
Bring toiletries with you - especially if you like a particular brand name.
Carrefour and Mercadona are good for own brand products - so forget the little supermarkets on the beach if you need suncream lotion, shampoo etc. Buy it in Mercadona.
What to pay: In Euro or with your bank card. Remember that in Spain it´s not chip and pin they have. You need to show PHOTOGRAPHIC I.D.
This can be your Photo Driving Licence or a passport (something official)

The market is Sunday (maybe saturday)and either Tuesdays or Wednesday. The weekend market is when mostly the Spanish go to it so it will be busier. However if you are looking for a real bargain go to the market at the weekend as the market during the week is more expensive as this is the day that the tourist go to market.
What to buy: There are many different souveniers to be bought here including dolls and other toys for children, clothes etc.

In almost all big and medium size cities in Spain, you will find one or more Carrefours-This is a french chain of Hipermarkets and right now they are in almost all Europe.
Here you will find everything you need.,...Food,Clothes,Electronics,Hardware Store,Shoes, everything! also in the entrance there are a few more small shops ,hairdresser's,and also a huge car garage or repair shop. Also it has a very reasonable prices in food and clothes and sometimes they give some very good offers or three items for price of two.

Walking by Benidorm' streets you'll find thousands of shops in some commercial streets in the old town, the one in the picture is Avenida Jaime I,close to Poniente Beach. In here you'll find lot of clothes and souvenir shops at a very reasonable price.Right now we are having lot of shops runned for chinese people, and the prices are really low!!!,specially on clothes and souvenirs.
Also just outside of the city centre we got a new Shopping Center,is called "Centro Comercial La Marina".Here a part of lot of nice and a few of them expensive shops, there are also some restaurants and a multicinema,is a good place to spend a full morning or afternoon. Also there are a few cafeterias and fast food restaurants.Take a look to its website for more information.

I always liked Caprabo which is a large supermarket chain. As well as food stuffs they also sell housewares etc and are always at a very reasonable price. I always pick up a selection of Spanish cheeses and speciality meat such as the Bodega or Serrano ham which is basically a cured pigs leg!
