Recently went to Guadalest, a Very beauitiful place!, Thoroughly recomend it. We were hungry and decided to eat there instead of traveling back to La Nucia. First impresions when we got to Sunny Side Up was its a bit dated. There was a childrens menu, which was perfect for our daughter, but no high chair!. We were offered a stack of garden chairs, we reluctently decided to eat there as our daughter was hungry and grouchy. My wife and Mother In Law ordered Pork Fillet Steak and backed potato, my Father In Law and myself ordered Scampi Chips and Peas. The Pork Steak looked as though it was a procesed 1/8" thick shoe heal!, and the potato was hard around the edges. The Scampi was cold, chips cold, peas hard and cold, as were the plates!. We returned the scampi dishes, and recultently agreed for fresh ones, given a free beer each, and waited. It was better, but still Very disapointing, we all felt the after affects after eating here for a good couple of days. It came to 46 euros!, we had a 9! course FANTASTIC chinese in Calla Finestrat Including 2wines coffee and desert for 4, for 38 euros!!, We Wouldnt recomend Sunny Side Up. Its a coach tour haven, with typical bad english greasy spoon food, the owners son, as i found out after, uses the toilet, doesn't flush Or wash his hands, I had the Miss Pleasure of finding out!!, then serves food, and wipes his hand on the dish cloth used for the glasses!
Favorite Dish: told tea was ok

Located on a romote hillside near the town of Guadalest. It is a quiet and peaceful location offering good views down the valley to the distant coast.
Favorite Dish: We had a variety of dishes and shared, I was particularly fond of the stuffed peppers for the starters. For the maincourse it was Paella, Chicken, Rabbit and Shellfish cooked in Rice. Its the specially of the region of Valenciana and was very good.
