This is a very good restaurant very close to Javea,it is located at La Nao Cape.I didn't had a meal here, because during my visit here,it was on the afternoon, but I saw the carte menu, and I can tell you that has some nice local and international dishes at a very reasonable prices. But the best of all,it is the beautiful views of cliffs and Mediterranean Sea!
We accidently found this place while on the way to Javea. Its on a main road and it looked very nice as people were eating out in the garden so we decided to stop.We went in and it was very nice.A proper restaurant with the waiter all dressed up and proper table clothes etc.The other places were more beach style with plastic chairs etc but this place was nicer. We sat outside as it was very warm and i could see that local people had their lunch here so that was a good sign.
Favorite Dish: As we had got there quite late the only thing they were doing was the set menu.It was 13 euros a head for 4 courses. We had the choice of pasta or soup first, then fish or ham, then chicken or beef and then dessert. We ordered a bottle of wine which was quite pricey at 9 euros compared to other places we had been to but everything was very nice, nice glasses, cutlery etc so it was worth it.The food came and each course was small but very tasty and the main course was fantastic.I had chicken in a red wine sauce with pasta and husband had beef with baked veggies. It was very tasty.Dessert was lemon pie with cream. It was beautiful. One of the best meals ive had.It was presented really well, tasted fantastic and the waiter was immaculate and was very friendly.I would highly recomend you having a set course meal here.Think it came to 40 euros including wine and drinks. It was wonderful. The kind of place to go for a special occasion or just to treat yourself
We had this fantastic experience with my wife during the week of april 21st. We were trying to avoid all the tourist traps along the boardwalk.
We saw during the afternoon the exterior of the Dining Room which has an aspect of "fashion lounge". Returning at the hotel (the Mariott in Denia) i surfed on internet and found their website with examples of menus : no hesitation..i called to reserve !
The inside is very confortable, zen like decoration but all the little details pleasing to a customer. This restaurant has been open for six weeks. It is owned and managed by an English couple : the husband is the chef and the wife oversees the service with the help of a very charming young girl.
The chef uses only fresh products he buys every morning at the local market.
The inspiration is spanish but i would say it's almost a world cuisine with an incredible presentation of each plate.
Wine list is complete and not expensive at all.
The best conclusion would be to say that we liked the restaurant so much that we came back the next day !!
Should be a success for the summer season.
Excuse my english,...i am french, that's why i like good food !!!
Favorite Dish: Best scallops i had in my life, huge and so well prepared...
Beef filet better than in Texas....
Cod fish most simply prepared but perfect
For dessert, a "chocolate bomb" you will never forget
very autentic restaurant in the old town,
Take the steps down from the church an you will easy find it.
Menue prices from 7,50 to 15 Euros 3 courses including wine .
Reservation is recommended
Favorite Dish: Lamb roast
The restaurant is located on the beach in the Arenal district of Javea. It has a large outside section as well as inside. The menu uses local ingredients and has a good selection of seafood and meats. Great combinations like King Crab Guacamole for starters, foie Gras, and mussels in white wine. For main course, there are grilled king prawns, or in almagnac source, langoustines, lobster, and venision and steaks.
The wine list is extensive and is mostly Spanish wines, we had a great bottle of sauvignon blanc for 15 euros.
Favorite Dish: I had the king crab guacamole to start, which was very tasty and then grilled prawns served simply with a half lemon. For dessert we had profiteroles with hot chocolate sauce - yum!
Seems to be the most popular on the seafront, lovely food, very busy on Sundays
Local residents come here with their dogs!
