Every Saturday from 9.30 onwards there is a carboot sale in the parking area of Lliber, stalls cost 5€ per pitch, there is a bar and BBQ. As it grows we are hoping to bring more things in for children eg bouncy castles etc. The organisers are "the commission of fiestas 2007", who are a group of people from the village whose job is to raise funds to pay for the fiestas in the village next August(2007). Anyone wanting to book a pitch please call Peter 626224901 or Donna 646864631, or just turn up from 9.30 onwards (weather permitting)
This little resturant is right in the centre of downtown lliber, near Jalon spain. We had a nice rioja, Starter peach and blue cheese, sounds revolting but is delicous! A special dip, which you have raw carrots and celery to take the fantastic flavours of this homemade recipe. We had Hake, paella & Sirlion steak, for our main course but there are lots of other choices & a good choice of many afters, including a quarter of a pineapple with cream filling. The ambience is fantastic in the court yard, is very romantic, with candles and a good few of the stars. This restaurant looks nothing from the outside it looked empty, but the courtyard is out the back, and we could'nt be more wrong, we nearly did not go in, how we would have missed out!! The head waiter is also a fantastic host, and very funny!
Favorite Dish: We recommend the tipsey hedgehog, which is full of VERY NICE real choclolate liqour and cream, completed with a sparkler. The evening was completed by a nice green liqour. Free of course. I am not sure how this resturant makes a profit, we gave them a very good tip.
