25 Degrees of water all year around

This is the birth point of a lake with a pond that has a flow of about 6000 litres a minute of water and is pure pleasure. It has a unique qualtiy which is unbelievable till you check it for your own self - the tempreture of the water is around 25 degrees centigrade all year around. I was there with my family in winter and it surely was a fantastic sensation. So if you happen to go there even in winter take your swimming costume as the water is surely inviting for a dip. The cascades of water, however have recently been pouring a lesser quantity of water into the pond as it used to be because of the draught situation that this part of the country is currently undergoing, which surely is a passing cloud and will soon return to its full splendour.

We happened to go to Montanejos on the 9th of December, a day on which the locals celebrate the festivity of THE PURISIMA to honour the local deity. There are many activities that are organized to cheer up the locals and the visitors. One of them happened to be TORO EMBOLADO. What is this - there are young bulls that are left loose in the Plaza - the main square of the town - which is pretty small in size as you can check from the phtographs and the brave young people who dare to face the animals play around while others are well locked into cages, specailly prepared for this festivity to watch the bulls closely and keep away from them as well. I had the chance to see this from a small balcony set up for the ocasion. something different, surely worth the experience.
