Orihuela Warnings and Dangers

It is almost impossible to park in the main part of Orihuela, especially after 6pm at night. There do not appear to be any official car parks, so all parking is bumper to bumper along the streets. It is imperative for the future of their tourism, that the local ayuntamiento deal with this problem.

We discovered the best parking places after 6pm are a five minute walk from the town, near the railway station.

You have to follow the normal security precautions with your car and your money like in everyone town in Europe.
