Watch out as you do strolling at the baywalk where there no so much crowds. Like at the Marina Deportivo area. Just all of a sudden a smiling lady comes to you and place a flower on your hair (women) or chest and say; Welcome to Torrevieja!!! Our first idea is, maybe somebody is running for political candidacy or something else. Once you get or hold that flower, she will ask an Euro for it!

Never park on a prohibited area if you travel with your own car. It will be a an expensive holiday for you. The Gruas, (lift-up service) are incharged of this and the authorities are quite strict
