My property in spain which is being built
Miscellaneous: And finally Denia.Denia is a nice harbour town with a huge long sandy beach.Denia is right the top of Costa Blanca and is very scenic. Here is the property im having built or it will be the same as this when its built. Its on a complex about 3 miles from Denia and it is right near the sea and set in a valley with mountains around. It will have 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, living, kitchen and a room upstairs that will be converted in the future to a bedroom and a bathroom.
The bungalow will have a drive, small garden, terrece, back patio and a roof terrece with views to mountains and sea.
It is set on a low rise complex which has a pool, tennis courts and a shop. There are restaurants about 1 km away.
Denia is a lovely town with a great selection of banks, shops, bars, restuarants,a harbour, and a big beach which goes on for miles.

Where my Spanish bunglaow will be
Miscellaneous: Here is the site where my property is being built. It is set in a lovely area, unspoilt, quiet and very near the long, unspoilt beach.Valencia is only about 40 minutes away and Alicante about one and a half hours away.Denia has everything and there are also some bars, restuarants along the road from Denia to the site.
There are not going to be any two story properties built,so the view will not be lost and it is a very nice clean area.I cannot wait to do the garden and have some nice hols there.

Weekend Break in February
Luggage and bags: Travel light - we managed with a small case each (Well except for Bev, who brought a months supply of clothing!!) plus a daysac or shoulder bag for daytime.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: We all packed comfy shoes- Plenty of miles to cover! Clothes -we weren't sure of what to expect weatherwise, but we were ok with lightweight tops and jacket/cardigan for night.
We brought smart /casual clothing with us for sight seeing and going out at night.
Sunglasses - the sun was quite strong at times.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sun protection - even in February.
Blister plasters (Compeed) - for after walking all day and dancing all night!
Resolve/headache tablets for those morning after the night before moments.
Ear plugs if visiting during Fallas!!!

What to bring and when to visit
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The weather in Valencia is mild and sunny during the winter but it can get really hot and humid in mid summer, a season when you want to spend the whole day on the beach. Heavy rains (gota fr?a) may fall in October / november. But, they usually only last for a few days. Spring is probably the best time to visit, with pleasant temperatures and sunny days.
Miscellaneous: I know it seems obvious, But you really do need lots of water while walking around Valencia. If you havn't been here before, then please don't forget to carry plenty of water! While there is plenty of shade due to the tall architecture, these buildings seem to also make the atmosphere stuffy and humid!

summer time packing
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If you travel here in the summer months be forewarned that it really is hot. For some people it can even be unbearable. Pack light coloured clothing as well as light fabrics. The last thing you want is to be walking around in a black tracksuit in 40C temperatures!
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring sunscreen with high SPF and bring ALOE or Aftersun also because, believe me, you will need it
In the wintertime..
Luggage and bags: the weather can be a little unpredictable. It ranged from cold and wet to sunny and hot, so bring a little of everything.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Waterproof and your umbrella
Photo Equipment: A great camera is needed here for the amazing views.
