You all know what this is all about. It's not very cheap but Starbucks will serve you good coffee and something to it. In Valencia we spotted at least three Starbucks (one only a block west of Plaza de Ayunamiento, one on Calle de la Paz and this one at Gran Vía).

Greek Restaurant. Possibly one to avoid to be honest, I and my group were quite disappointed. I remember eating quite well during our travels through Greece. Basically as in the title it seems like fast fast served in a Restaurant. The food was honestly nothing special.
My wife just seemed to get a couple of boiled sausages and chips. It's not even priced that cheaply either. My advise would be to actually go the Greek fast food restaurant a couple of shops down (which they must also own), it would probably be cheaper. Strangely enough though the restaurant was quite packed (possibly due it's niche of being the only Greek restaurant).
Favorite Dish: Chips were nice.

When you just want something different to eat in Valencia, this is the place to come. The dishes are basic but different. It is a small place but with big tables. The fact is serves pints as well and some german beers is also great.
I regularly come here and owner is top bloke who has a decent taste in music.
Favorite Dish: Cheese fondu - so basic but no other resturant does it.

Cerveceria 100 Montaditos is a chain of restaurants with a few locations across Spain.
There are ~80 different small sandwiches to choose from. The price is the same for all... only 1EUR. Simply take one of the order slips from the table and pencil all the ones you want, wait for your name to be called, then enjoy.
If you order sandwiches for multiple people, pay attention to what you chose because they will simply put all sandwiches on a plate, with no visible difference. You may wish to put in a separate order if it sounds too difficult to identity.
Favorite Dish: They are all good, but small.
A man could easily eat 4, and if hungry maybe 6.
A woman would probably eat 3 and maybe a 4th if more hungry.

It is located in the basement of the building "Veles e Vents" in the Americas Cup port. The food is good and the views incredible! I love it ... You are having lunch and see the Americas Cup teams going in and out of the port: such an environment!

This chinese restaurant was literally straight across the road from The Hotel Expo where we stayed. I can't remember the name but you can't miss it.
This was by no means a posh establishment and the furnishings were quite basic but I do remember that the menu was extensive, the food was good and really, really good value.
The house wine was a bit fierce but what do you expect for just a few euros. Once past the first glass it got better, as they usually do.
Well worth a visit - especially if it is your turn to pay !!!

This local restaurant was just across from The Hotel Expo where we stayed. The only thing that I have for the details is a sugar sachet with a corner missing so I can't be sure of the name but the address and other details are correct.
This was a typical local restaurant with typical local food and certainly not aimed at the tourist market. I can't remember if the menu was in English but I do remember that the Waiter and I shared a distinct lack of knowledge of one anothers native tongue. We seemed to manage though, as you do, and we left satisfied.
Favorite Dish: My memory of the menu is hazy due to the vast amount of Cointreau and coffee consumed when we got back to the hotel. I think that we started with a cold meat / salad type thing and then we shared an authentic meat paella. I know that it was the real thing as there were no swinging metal signs out side with pictures of paella on them as well as the fact that it took not far short of an hour to cook.
It was worth the wait as it was delicious and contained various types of meat including pork, chicken and rabbit. Well worth a visit for some authentic local food.

Sorry can't remember the exact name of this place but it was the only American style restaurant at The Nuevo Centro shopping centre, Valencia. The centre is right behind The Hotel Expo ( see seperate listing )
Favorite Dish: The food here was really tasty and good value. Chris & I had 2 bottles of house wine, mozarella fingers and jalapeno poppers to start, a pizza each for main followed by a banana split, a peach sundae and a coffee each all for 42 Euros.
All standard stuff but good quality. The place can get busy at peak times but worth a visit.
