All you need to become a fallera by DanielF Traditional clothes still play an important role for many Valencians (the "fallers" in particular), as they are required for the many festivals that take place along the year. For this reason, it is not surprising the large amount of shops selling traditional clothes, rich fabrics and the complete outfit for the fallers. These shops are to be found mainly in the old town and in Russafa. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

I'll update the name once I look on the map...forgot the name. Anyway, once I got off at the end of the bus 95 line (the end towards the sea side) I saw this huge mall. Didn't get the chance to stroll through it, but I guess it's worth the visit for someone on the shopping frenzy!!! Leave a Comment Theme: Other

This is more for me...Many average priced shops in this Mall...Great for a bit of shopping. It has Mango, Zara, C&A and many other shops for almost any wallet :o) It's right across the street from Kris Abadia hotel, another plus for it in that matter :O) Leave a Comment Theme: Other

near Turia metro st, at night by ocean_fire It's a chain of department stores (probably that's why they call it "English") that looks like Harrod's ..it has everything and it's a bit pricy for my tastes...but that's just me...Some people might have a bigger budget for shopping and then it could become interesting. There is one at Turia metro station (near our Kris Abadia Hotel), one at Colon metro station and I saw one even at the City of Science.
anything, everything...it has it all this Corte Ingles
more than average for sure Leave a Comment Theme: Department StoreAddress: see above the metro stations I've mentioned

One of the many stores Carrefour has in Valencia by MaheshSamtani The worlds second largest retail chain stores - Carrefour has an important presence in Valencia with aprox 10 stores you will find all that you can normally find back home at a supermarket. You might probably find them to be bigger in size over here and at pretty reasonable prices. Shopping in one of these strores is pretty comfortable as they are open from 9 in the morning till 10 at night. You have one just in front of the city of sciences.

El Corte Ingles, Nuevo Centro shopping centre. by Tricky_Dicky69, 1 more photos Nuevo Centro is a shopping centre just to the north of Valencia town centre. It's a 15 minute walk if you are feeling energetic or if not it is right beside the Campanar Metro station which is on line 1 ( The Yellow Line ). There is a branch of El Corte Ingles and much more. The centre has a good selection of shops for all types of goods as well as a big C & A. There is also a good selection of cafes and restaurants. We ate at a Tex / Mex american style place that was good value. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: Nuevo Centro, Avda. Pio X11, 4. City Building by doreenellen Mercado Central Market The modernist style Central Market is onc of Europe's largest covered market places, with a total area of 8,000 square metres. Coinciding with the city center are the main shopping streets: La Paz, Colon and Plaza de Ayuntamiento. There are shops here specializing in the very latest design trends. On Sunday mornings, the milling crows in Plaza Redondda (behind Plaza de la Reina) denote feverish commercial activity. anything can be found there, from parrots to leather bags or second-hand watches. Many of the central streets are named after the trades that ware carried on there in former times, and there are still some vestiges of popular handicrafts today.
For fine wickerwork, go to the well-known calle de las cestas (street of the baskets). There are also a lot of fan-markers and goldsmiths, but the region's main handicraft is without a doubt ceramics. The pottery and ceramic shops are all over Valencia, and sell their wares directly to the public.
