Monument (?) in Jardín de la Isla by El_Sueco This "island" is formed by two currents of the river Tajo. During the times of the muselmans this was a cultivation, later on the royal family made it to a garden, whose walking paths was decorated with fountains. The first one you will meet is La Boticaria, then comes Hércules, Apolo, la del Reloy (the Clock), la del Niño de la Espina (the Christ child with the thorn), Venus, Diana and Baccus. To the left of the last one you will find the Plaza de Neptuno. Further into the park in front of the open space there is this construction, that I so far can´t find any information about.
