Some souvenirs

Inside the Royal Palace there is a nice and complete souvenirs shop selling items from the Palace of Aranjuez and other Royal Palaces around Spain (all which are under the "Patrimonio Nacional").
You don't have to buy the Palace ticket to enter, is just by the main gate, so you can visit it for free anyway.

What to buy: Handkerchiefs, mugs, pencils, chocolates, postcards, books, umbrellas....

Strawberries and asparagus are the main 2 gastronomis specialities here. You can ask for them at any restaurant, or buy them a t the many street stands all around.
In front of "El Rana Verde" there is one...
The strawberries are really expensive (about 6 euros the little tray, 3 euros the bowl in a restaurant), they are much cheaper in any market, if is the season...
