This must be one of the funniest restaurants I've ever been to! Not only it's salad buffet is great (you can eat as much as you want!), but the show is just "something else". There are two shows per night with Drag Queens you could have never imagined, who dance, pose, sing and make you laugh until you're rolling on the floor. It's for people of all ages (I was there with my mom!), the only negative point is that the shows are in Spanish, so you should speak it fluently if you want to enjoy it the most!
Favorite Dish: In the Gula Gula there are about two options to have for dinner, you can choose for the Salad Buffet (my favourite!!) which gives you a lot of great salads and cold dishes to choose from, and you can eat as much as you can. You can also choose for a warm menu, or make a combination of the two.
Gula Gula has now 2 restaurants: the one in Gran Via opens daily, the c/Infantes one closes Mondays. Both are popular among young people and students, and can get too full, mostly at night (reservation reccomended). The menu includes imaginative and modern international dishes, and a wide variety of salads. For lunch they have a salads buffett (all you can eat for about 10 $). Drag Queens Show weekends night.

This place is kind of trendy feeling and most of the patrons were young and fashionable. However, the prices were reasonable and the food was original. It's not a place that caters to tourists, so they seem to take chances with the menu and are not afraid to put their own twist on traditional dishes.
Favorite Dish: I had a spinach tortilla that had some unique spices.
Gula Gula is a wonderful fun restaurant on the Gran Via with huge windows looking out onto the street. It has amazing views, both inside and outside of the restraurant.
The food is wonderful international cuisine with salad bar, buffet type, and meat offerings.
The waiters are often dressed in drag and on many nights offer performances.
This is a relatively inexpensive meal complete with entertainment. It has the feel of ASIASF in San Francisco, except it holds more people.

Gula Gula now has 2 restuarants, the Gran Vía one opens every day. Both are popular with young couples and students and can get quite full, so make your reservation early. The menu includes imaginative and modern international dishes, including such delights as spinach tortilla with a hint of nutmeg, or gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimps). On some nights there are shows involving performances by drag-queens.
