Las Bravas is Tapas bar which specialises in patatas (potatoes). The serve patatas with their famous Bravas sauce which is delicious. There were plenty of different tapas on the menu, but we went for the classic potatoes & sauce, washed down with a lovely cold beer.

This is a very small place, but you can't possibly go to Madrid and not try their patented spicy brava sauce.
We got there minutes before they closed for siesta and the staff was kind enough to give us a few extra minutes so we could eat, although pretty quickly.

Las Bravas is a chain of tapas bars that specialise in patatas bravas (fried potatoes with a spicy paprika sauce).
They have even patented their own spicy sauce.
We ate our patatas bravas, washed down by a beer or two whilst standing at the window and people watching...as usual!

Great Patatas Bravas... a great option! lol Even if we can not compare to the ones at Burgos lol
I have come here often with Olga and miguel, and also in my first VT meeting.
We had a few tapas of patatas bracvas, octopus at gaelician style, boquerones in vinager, and tortilla de patatas, with a few beers of course....

There are five or six Las Bravas, all located in a ten-block area between the Puerto de Sol and the Plaza Santa Ana. These working-class, easy-going temples of tapas invented the Patatas Bravas, fried chunks of potato doused in the legendary Brava sauce (hot and kinda spicy). It's a taste treat, as are the Gambas Ali-Oli and well, really, everything.

I think we ate these several times a day. So good and delicious. Not expensive. Quick eats.
