Torre Picasso is the tallest building in Madrid, 156 m high with 43 floors and 29 000 square meters of aluminium and glass. The building was ready 1988 and is named after Pablo Picasso. When it was completed it was the tallest building in Spain but it is now passed by Gran Hotel Bali in Benidorm. It has the same architect as the Twin Towers in New York and shortly after the terrorist attack 9/11 ETA confirmed they had plans of a bomb attack on this building too. It was prevented by the government which found the explosives.
The building is found in the AZCA Centre, which also includes several other high buildings with offices and shops.

It's the highest skyscraper in Madrid. It has 48 storeys, 18 lifts and heliport. It was degined by Minoru Yamasaki - the one who designed World Trade Center in NY.
