Driving in Spain is really not that bad at all. We rented a car in Madrid and drove to Segovia ,Toledo and Barcelona. This is a picture of the road to Segovia.

The old train station in Madrid has been transformed into a lush garden, a real oasis in the city. It is located down the street from the Prado, near the Reina Sophia museum as I recall.
