Car and walking

by micas_pt

I believe that public transportation in Extremadura is not as efficient as in other destinations in Spain. I have always visited by car, and concerning roads I found them ok, even secondary roads. As with any other city in Spain, while in Extremadura you should park your car and discover towns and villages walking! Most of them are not big and everything is at hand and nearby. And don’t forget that some of them have historic centre closed to traffic, as is the case of Cáceres and Mérida.

A: I checked the bus link and noticed they have a contact email - perhaps best would be to drop them a note. I've had good results that way, usually get a reply.
