Favorite thing: By the name of this museum you might get the impression that it is the house where Francisco Pizarro was born. Of course it is not. It is not even on the same spot as he was born.
Having said that, you can in this little museum find things from the time of the Conquest and a surveying description about the history of Pizarro and the conquest.

Favorite thing: I must say that Trujillo is very hot in Summer, so, try to avoid that season.
Check www.inm.es/web/infmet/predi/locali/EXC.html and look for Trujillo (just in Spanish).

Trujillo, city of the conquistadores

When I first saw this plaza in a newspaper a yearning came in me to go there... and we were not disappointed... what a precious jewel in the Spanish Extremadura!
