Didn't find a lot of places to eat at a reasonable price so settled for this pizzeria. And glad we did in fact. Very nice, friendly couple cooking and serving, seemed popular as it seemed to fill up very quickly. We both had a vegetable lasagne and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Do not take the warnings about the tides lightly. This is a very dangerous place to be if you are cut off. ALWAYS ask about the times of low and high tide before adventuring down onto the beach. The locals come from Ribadeo and further on weekends so it is generally easy to see if they are going down or not, but please be careful.

Rinlo could be visited as a side trip on the way back or going to Cathedral beach. Pretty little village on its own tiny estuary about 5 kms out from Ribadeo.

About 10 kms from Ribadeo, towards La Coruna and Vigo is the Cathedral beach. The cliff face has been beaten by the ocean and has formed caves and natural arches in the rock that make for a nice walk on the beach.
WARNING - Be aware of the tides !! Ask someone before going the time of low tide. The beach here is very shallow and the sea can come up very quickly and it is dangerous .

Ribadeo is a sleepy little place, not far from the sea and sits on a "ria" or estuary with the neighbouring region of the Asturias on the opposite bank of the river.
