And that's about all I have to say. Well.... I could add that it's right in the center of town and that it has a really pretty steeple.

    There you go.

Haro's main plaza is surrounded by arcades, restaurants, stores, and has a beautiful gazebo in its center.

    I just love gazebos!

Best place to find times to Haro is from the following website: http://www.autobuseslaunion.com/

Buses run from the Termibus in Bilbao (Metro, Tram, and RENFE station: San Mames). Airport bus terminates at the Termibus.

Haro Off The Beaten Path

  • by englisho Written Jul 3, 2006

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Mostly overshadowed by the many other wonderful attractions in and around Haro.. why not take a stroll along the beautiful river which meanders through the town.

To get to it, head for the bodega region from the town centre down in the sports area below the centro comercial and take in the breathtaking views of the mountains in the distance whilst listening to the water flowing by. Pure tranquility.

View along the river from start of walk.
