It was built on the place of a late temple of the 12th century, in Isabelline Gothic style. In 1453 the church got the range of Collegiate church. The façade is a stone retable framed by the twin towers that were added in the 18th century. Inside, look at the choir, the altarpiece (17th century) and a Crucifixion attributed to Michelangelo Buonarroti.

Santa María de Palacio is one of the symbols of Logroño. It was built in the 12th century.
The aguja, from the 13th century, is the most impressive part of this church. It is a slender pyramid that reproduces an imperial crown on top of an octogonal gothic lantern.
I found a video (in Spanish) about Santa María de Palacio:

The stone bridge over the Ebro river is the way that pilgrims going to Santiago de Compostela take to cross the river and enter in the city. Every day, in the morning, you can see some pilgrims crossing the bridge, especially in the summer. They continue by Rua Vieja and reach the refuge.

The National Road N-111 (Logroño-Soria) goes to the South following the route of the Iregua river.
In the low valley you can see villages such as Nalda and Albelda, with vineyards, orchards, fruits and vegetables.
Later, going to the region of Camero Nuevo, there are beautiful mountain villages such as Torrecilla, Ortigosa or Villoslada, where the main traditional wealthy was the sheep livestock, the wool production and textile industry. From any of them you can start a trekking route and enjoy nature.
