    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: These superb Norway lobsters, will very soon go directly from the market to the pan ! We were lucky to have brought with us a large pan, just in case, but we felt that the case might occur ! It did ! We cooked them in olive oil with onions. Nothing else. It was delicious !

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

    Favorite thing: Mercado Santa Florentina.
They have red tuna and albacore of various sizes. Everything is always very very fresh. In other places of the market, they sell smoked tuna that is delicious as very thin slices, with bread and a little butter.

Nice relaxing bar close to the port

That's the bar on the right just as you leave.

Favorite thing: There are many bars near the port serving nice food and drink. You will just have to use your experience to find the better ones. I like the one at the end of the Cathedral / Amphitheatre visit. it's a tastefully refurbished house with a history under it's glass floors. Try to have a quick look in the small cellar. It's only small but a nice place to cool down.

From the port walk down the main street past the Town Hall and take the 1st street on the right just past the Cathedral Museum. Up to the top and turn right. Up the hill and it's on your right.

Fondest memory: I'm sorry I can't remember if they did food :( but if your peckish there is a nice Italian round the corner or a typical tapas bar that does a mean Octopus !!

    Cartagena - Spain

Favorite thing: More than historic remains, in Cartagena is noticeable the effort to keep on finding them. In several parts of the city digging is continued, and here and there, the new elements found but not yet well prepared to be seen are already announced. I think that there's a great future to tourism in Cartagena.
