The castle is located in the hill of Conception, overlooking the city, and is used as as tourist center. It is a nice space, with pleasant gardens, but with not much to see except... the views.

No idea what the name is, or how old it is, but I liked this stairway set into the old city walls down by the harbour. They didn't really take me anywhere, but nice to look at anyway.

Down on the waterfront is this life-size replica of the Peral Submarine, one of the first submarines to ever be built. It was designed by Isaac Peral, a resident of Cartagena.

Calle Mayor is the most important pedestrian and commercial street of Cartagena. There are many modernist houses, such as the Casino.

One of the buildings with notable beauty is the town hall of Cartagena. A modernist construction built at the beginning of the 19th century. Located near city center and to the port.

As a tourist Cartagena is a pleasure.Stay in a centrally located hotel and leave the car. All main tourist attractions are within walking distance. If just visiting for the day find a parking space......
