I realized the roads in Madrid are really large and huge, I mean 8 cars can pass easily in the road, just like in USA or Moscow!well at night be careful while crossing making sure all the cars has stopped and that green light for the footpather is glowing!
Madrid as a great city has its modern civilized part with the high and huge buildings, and at night they are as impressive and some times more than at morning nights, we had a walk in the night with my VT friends and Jose *Jlvillalba* took the task of the great guide ;-D
Indeed, VT meeting is the very best part of the nightlife in Madrid, as my Spanish friends has finished their work we can start the party and having fun, well I had great times and discovered how great and special those people are, and now have real great friends for good ;-D
In General Madrid as any other capital in the world is sleepless and has a viviasious rythym at night, well... nightlife in Madrid is a great way to discover the other side and face of the city with different colors!
I can't remenber the name of this bar but it's to the right of the wax Museum off Las Ramblas.Inside it is like a giant wood and there are fairies in the trees a water feature with more fairies and a child bedroom. The seats and tables are all small and wooden (for the fairies).It has a real eerie or magical feel. The music is good. Noramally English music such as Radiohead. This is not a place to dance.Try it out, it's quite a place! It's not for children. It's to feed adults imaginations. Maybe to let them feel young again.
A nice option to spend a pleasant evening is to meet at one of the many old cafes we have in Spain. Those are places decorated amainly with wood and nirrors where you can enjoy a drink or one of the many national and international coffee varieties. Some of them have live music, sometimes jazz or other relaxed style. Is an alternative for those who really want to chat and not only shout louder than the music in a disco!
This is a MUST for anyone who has never seen live Flamenco.El Arenal was recommended by our wonderful taxi driver-Dominique.He was right to!It was the most exciting spectacle-my friend and I didn't touch our drinks-we were so transfixed watching the incredible dancing!The loud foot-stamping and hand-clapping that accompanied the dancers was mesmerizing!We left the club,reeling,not from the alcohol,but from the arousing rythms still ringing in our ears!Of course,we bought pairs of castanets from a guy selling them outside the club,thinking we could revive the excitement ourselves,back home!No chance,they are impossible to play!
This old palace near the Puerta del Sol was recently opened as a disco, keeping the main structure of the house (aisles, high ceilings, wooden floors...) Before 23:00h, the entrance is free. After that hour, 9 euros (15 on weekends).On Thursdays a lot of foreign students living in Madrid meet there, so you can speak english that night. Tuesdays, salsa. Wednesdays, tango.
We are not big on ersatz packaged cultural productions that draw mainly tourists. Things like the Korean Folk Village or the Polynesian Cultural Center don't do much for us. But we enjoyed our night out at the flamenco performance even if it did seem a little touristy. Most of the shows offer a dinner and drink with the performance, but there's nothing special about the food. However the music and dancing is excellent. Of course, if you can find authentic flamenco in one of the corner bars around Sevilla, then you don't need this contrived program. But, for the most part, this is the best chance to see this slice of Andalucian culture. Dress nicely. We didn't wear sneakers, but the guys didn't have a coat or tie either. Typically, I can't remember what the women wore.
well i went to the b.c.m and it was a magical night it was a total party atmosphere ,there was pop corn partys ,and foam partys ,it was abit expensive but i expected that when i went ,food places around the erea where really friendly and not bad price wise so it balanced its way out really. most dance clubs anything went i mean everything
