I found the symbol, of the pilgrims to Santiago in Olite, I did not know but Olite is also part of the Camino Francés. When I made that Camino I did not go to Olite, but from Roncesvalles I continued to Unate temple and then Puente la Reina. But some pilgrims also visit that day Olite and the monastery of Leyre, which is a wonder and you are allowed to spend the night there.

Olite Restaurants

This restaurant is on the first floor above a bar and is decorated in a medieval style. The menu showed many typically spanish dishes together with set meal options. The quality and quantity of food was good and reasonably priced. We opted for the seafood platter for two at 18 euros a head. Well, to say it was enormous is an understatement - people started taking pictures!! It was a silver platter that was almost 3ft long and contained a whole seabream, salmon, swordfish, sole, monkfish, half a lobster, giant prawns, small prawns, mussels, clams, squid, cuttlefish etc etc........................................it was fantastic but sadly, we could not eat it all.
