Spanish Architecture by Gaudi

If you are ever lucky enough to visit, be sure you take the time to appreciate the architecture. Gaudi is perhaps one of the most interesting of spanish Architects. For one thing, he never used straight lines. For another, his work is all over the city of Barcelona. the Sagrada Familia, a work still in progress even after his death, is an amazing dedication on his part, both architecturally and artistically speaking. Guell park is also an architectural phenomenon, featuring houses that look like they're made of candy, a long serpent bench constructed to fit every type of back, and lizards statues are scattered over the park. When it rains, water pours out these lizards' mouths. It didn't rain when I was there, but I'm sure it's amazing. The park, along with much of his work, is very colorful and has a mozaic feel to it.
