Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring clothes that suit the weather. In the summer I guess the average temperature during daytime may be somewhat above 20 centigrades, but the air is always fresh and a bit windy. If it is a sunny and warm summer it is great! (But there also exist bad ones). I would recommend going to Karlskrona during late spring or in the summer. In the autumn and winter the temperature is often somewhere around 0 centigrades and weather is often boring and dark, windy, rainy, icy, and much more seldom it is snow. Then bring good clothes. It is feeling colder than one thinks, because it is so windy.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: In the summer bring swimming clothes, because you are almost always close to somewhere where you can go simming, even in the central parts of the town.
